About Me

For an extensive period, I've been irresistibly drawn to the counselling field, a passion that has deeply rooted itself within me. I've served as a professional person-centred counselling for roughly six years. The origin of this strong commitment can be traced to my life experiences and daily encounters with clients, patients, residents, and service users. In these interactions, I witnessed the profound potential of the therapeutic alliance, significantly shaping my career path.

During these pivotal moments, I discovered my calling to become a counsellor. The realisation struck me like lightning: I desired to pursue training to establish a safe refuge for individuals seeking solace, where they could freely unburden their hearts and minds without fear of judgment. This calling was a testament to my inherent empathy and compassion, qualities I believed could be harnessed to provide genuine support to those grappling with life's challenges.

As I embarked on this counselling journey, I was driven by a fervent desire to develop the skills and knowledge necessary for fostering healing and personal growth in others. The person-centred approach, marked by its emphasis on empathy, unconditional positive regard, and authenticity, became the bedrock of my practice. I aimed to embody these principles, recognisng their power in cultivating deep, meaningful connections with clients.

Throughout my six-year tenure as a professional counsellor, I've had the privilege of witnessing profound transformations in numerous lives. Each day, I'm reminded of the tremendous impact that a safe, empathetic space can have on individuals wrestling with their inner struggles. This ongoing journey underscores my unwavering commitment to providing steadfast support and guidance to those who confide in me, reinforcing my belief in the extraordinary potency of the therapeutic relationship.
